Recent CCW Class April 9 2011 was a Classic!

HillTop Gun Club again had a fun exciting and serious Ohio Concealed Weapon class on Saturday April 9. The class was high speed and full of National Rifle Association facts concerning the carrying and use of a concealed carry handgun. According to the new NRA standards to qualify, all students had to shoot from 10′ 20′ and 30′ onto a 9″ target and hit it 90% to qualify. All of our students hit 90% and above.

I must brag on the assistant instructors of HillTop Gun Club who take the time and effort to teach each of their students privately and with calm and concern. It is not easy to to teach a person who is not familiar with a handgun how to properly shoot it and then to qualify especially when they are under stress. In the rain or in the heat, we always make and take the time for our students to properly and safely shoot and qualify.
This class was no exception.

Shooting at the new range has also decreased the stress on the instructors, as we don’t have the issues of overuse and distractions.

Our personal touch, without students, makes us a better training and teaching school.
