October Update

October Update

Greetings to Hilltop Gun Club members and guests.

Our Club recently held a very successful October meeting and Pistol Shooting Competition. Altogether it was a resounding event, which included private instruction for 2 members, a member we haven’t seen for 3 years came and competed, 2 young men came to shoot video for our website and Facebook page and soon to be YouTube page. In addition Bob Lust the former owner and instructor of Wellston Gun Club came to see the range and discus joining the club. Bob also ran the 4 target stages as I had to go to the Clubs president and photographers wedding. Congratulations to Eric and Nickie.

I do hope that All member’s of our Club come to the November meeting and Competition. It is imperative that member’s join the officers and begin to jell as a Club not as individual members. Our Club is only as strong as a group if you come together.

The next Competition is November 19th 1 to 4 pm. I and the Range crew are getting a vast amount of caught up work accomplished and the Range is showing signs of improvement. The next big project is to build dividing walls for the Target Stages.

If you have not been to the range to see just how peaceful and tranquil it is then you are missing out. The first hour of our November get together will comprise of next year’s calender, who needs to finish up their membership requirements, membership payments, member work schedule and other issues to discuss.

Have a wonderful weekend..

Kevin
